Q: Why donate to Charity Cars instead of the "other guys"?
A: The "other guys" are almost always for profit companies running a car donations program for one or more charities. Usually the for profit company retains the lion's share of the proceeds of the sale of the vehicles at auction, with the charity receiving in many instances, less than 10% of the donation. 100% of the proceeds from vehicles donated via the 1-877-Charity Program are donated to the charity of the donors choice. (Normal towing and auction fees are deducted from proceeds).
Q: Will there be any cost to the donor for towing?
Q: What can I donate?
A: Cars, vans, trucks, RV's and boats, as long as you have clear title and the vehicle is whole (not stripped of doors, hoods, etc.)
